Goods in Supervisor

​Recruitment Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic local employer in Doncaster in their search for an experienced Goods In Supervisor.

This role is permanent and although the role is varied, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:

• Oversee the goods-in process, including receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all goods received into the warehouse management system (WMS)

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments

• Coordinate with the warehouse team to allocate and store received goods in appropriate locations

• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies

Implement and maintain efficient and effective warehouse processes for goods-in operations

• Train and supervise warehouse staff on proper receiving procedures and safety protocols

• Maintain a clean and organised goods-in area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Experience:

- Previous experience in shipping receiving and warehouse management is required
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
- Strong knowledge of logistics, materials handling, and 3PL operations
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting and operating forklifts
- Understanding of business processes related to goods-in operations

This contract is for 37.5 hours per week with flexibility on what hours you work between 7:00am and 17:00pm Monday to Friday.

Pay rate of £11-£12 per hour
